Client Background
Sol D’ Mar translates from Portuguese to the Sea’s Sun.
Located in a quiet seaside Portuguese village, Sol D’ Mar is a tranquil haven for those seeking a mindful retreat.
You will be able to wind down, by joining the morning sun salutation yoga sessions and enjoy peaceful walks by the sea. In addition to the beautiful scenery, you will be able to experience Portugal’s Cuisine through a completely plant-based menu.
Briefing
When asked to design this mock-up for a Portuguese retreat, I chose colours that would blend in with the sand, wicker and terracotta usually found in Portuguese villages in the south of the country. The lighter shades are meant to transmit peace and tranquillity.

Brand Guidelines
For each brand I create, a brand guidelines sheet like this is provided. This will assist the client with promoting brand cohesiveness. I add a mood board at the bottom with carefully selected imagery that portrait the brand - for a social media profile inspiration that truly match the brand vibe.
